An easy however scrumptious dessert, perfect not just for family gatherings but also for guests.
Ingredients
Apple Filling:
6 medium apples
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2-4 tbsp white sugar *
Crumble ingredients:
175 g all-purpose flour
100 g unsalted butter, cold, plus a bit extra for the baking dish
85 g granulated sugar
85 g almond meal
Guidelines:
Pre-heat a stove to 180 C (160 for fan oven).
Oil an oven-proof baking dish with butter.
Peel, core, and also cut the apples into pieces.
Put the apple pieces in a mixing bowl, include the cinnamon and also sugar, mix well, and also transfer to the prepared baking container.
In a food processor, whizz the flour, butter, sugar as well as almond meal till crumbly.
Spread out the crumble mixture equally on the apples, place it in the preheated stove as well as bake for 35-40 minutes till gold brown.
* The amount of necessary sugar depends upon the apples. If I use sugary apples, I often do not include any sugar to the apples.
